First of all I love the lighting/shadows of the the bacground. But two problems there: there is not much light there and if it is it would be concentrated but both the clothing of the girl and the frame have an overall glow that doesn't go well with all the shadows. See for instance the bottom right corner, the transition between the white fabric and almost entirely black background seems unnatural.
The second impression was: what is wrong with the floor? I know it is not important, but it's clearly noticeable that it is made from one stock pic duplicated cause it has a very characteristic grain.
Now back to praising. I admire the composition, making the wallpaper and its ornamentic value the center of the picture, then ballancing the presence of the woman (otherwise completely dominating) with the picture/window (which is absolutely gorgeous).
You also chose the colors very well, photomanips tend to have flashy, unnatural colors, yours are subdued, well-matched, a great background for the cold, achromatic whiteness.
To sum up I'd like to say it is a suprisingly great first attempt that shows you have a lot more talent and artistic spirit in you than some acclaimed DA creators with faves exceeding thousands. So, keep it up!
PS. you may want to add some sort of watermark or signature to it, I heard there are a lot of art theft problems connected with photomanips.
